What an AMAZING little gem of a find is LE Gite in Lorigne.
From the minute we were welcomed by our hosts Helen and Mark this place took our breath away the luxurious Gite is top notch without a doubt, from the slippers and facepack on my bed in my luxurious bedroom The Pinky, to The White Company products in the perfect bathrooms, they have indeed gone above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The outdoor pool, sunbathing and shaded seating area is second to none and again no expense spared on quality and cleanliness and only enhances the relaxation of this beautiful place and was well used on this lovely hot week. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can and know that any guests would never be disappointed, what a find!! ***** 5 Star Review Anita J

Le Gite is located in a lovely tranquil location but not that far away from the nearest town of Sauzé-Vaussais which has a Super U supermarket for any food / drink requirements.
The place itself is immaculate decorated with 3 large bedrooms, (one en-suite) a large kitchen diner/living room, with free wi-fi (a must for teenage children!!)
Externally it has a large heated swimming pool, sun beds and shaded areas, a sunken decked area equipped with a much needed portable drinks chiller. Towels are provided for both internal and external use along with high quality toiletries.
The owners Mark and Helen couldn't do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable, recommending local restaurants and places to visit.

Beautiful Gite with 3 luxury bedrooms & two bathrooms. We had our own private pool and outdoor area which was also immaculate. Le Gite is set in a picturesque part of France with Lots of little towns in easy driving distance. Helen & Mark were very welcoming & were on hand with great recommendations of places to visit, thank you for making our visit so enjoyable & we look forward to returning in the future. ***** 5 Star Review S Helling
Wij hadden een heel leuke vakantie bij Helen en Mark. Ondanks dat we verbleven in een Gite hadden we alle privacy voor een zorgeloze vakantie. Heel mooi domein, verwarmd zwembad dus ideaal voor de kinderen. Ook de speeltent was een groot succes! Je ziet dat alles heel goed wordt onderhouden, het is allemaal als nieuw. Leuke tips gekregen voor mooie plaatsen te bezichtigen en lekker te gaan eten. Zeker een aanrader!!!

Wij hebben hier erg genoten van onze zomervakantie. Een oase van rust, ruimte, luxe en comfort. De gîte is met veel smaak ingericht waardoor we ons erg verwend voelden. De bedden, de badkamers, woonkamer, keuken, terrassen, alles ziet er even perfect uit. De matrassen en kussens waren heel fijn en van goede kwaliteit. De lakens, handdoeken, zeepjes, alles van topkwaliteit en wat ruikt het allemaal lekker. Het zwembad is in één woord fantastisch. Heerlijke temperatuur van het water en super schoon. Het zwembad is ook lekker groot. Zelfs de buitendouche heeft warm water. In de omgeving zijn veel pittoreske dorpjes, kastelen en oude kerken te bezoeken. En van de eindeloze velden met zonnebloemen konden we maar geen genoeg krijgen. Kortom; dit is echt een aanrader! Gastvrouw Helen is ongelooflijk attent en zorgt ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. *****5 Star Review M Kuperus
