Booking a gite. The first step is to make a booking online using one of the forms and proceed to the payments section where you will be asked to pay a deposit of 25% of the rental cost which is non refundable, The balance will be due 10 weeks before the start date of your holiday. If the booking is made less than 10 weeks before the starting date, the full cost must be paid at the time of booking. Your booking will be binding both on you and on us when we send you confirmation that the booking is accepted. If payment is not made when due, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you.
Deposit for damages is required this is 200.00 euro this amount will be paid 1 week before arrival and will be refunded within 1 week from departure of the property
ARRIVAL are from 5.00pm earlier checkin may be possible depending on prior bookings. Please email us to request this and we will try to accommodate you if at all possible.
DEPARTURES are on or before 10.00am please ensure you leave on time as we have to ensure the Gite is ready for the next guests again a late departure may be available depending on prior bookingsPlease email us to request this and we will try to accommodate you if at all possible
PRICE The cost of the booking is fixed and will not be subject to any variation once accepted by us. The price is for self catering accommodation. the cancellation charges set out below.
Cancellation. If you need to cancel your holiday after it has been confirmed, the person making the booking may notify us by email. In that event the following cancellation charges are payable from the date we receive your notification: Less than 21 days before the starting date - loss of payment. 21 to 70 days before - 50% of payment. We would advise that you insure against cancellation.
Arrangements. These are your responsibility. We cannot be responsible for any failure on your part to make the necessary travel arrangements, nor delays or cancellations. It is your responsibility to take out any insurance that you may require against such eventualities.
Use of facilities. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party are made aware, by you, of the normal risks attendant on using the facilities provided at the property. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party take all proper precautions against accident, whether by using appropriate safety equipment or otherwise and ensuring that young persons are properly supervised at all times.
Swimming Pool. Open between May and late September Pool times opening and closing can be arranged with the owner but will generally be between 8.00am - 8.00pm - the pool will have to be vacated when robotic cleaning takes place prior notice will be given, NO glasses or bottles around the pool and NO Eating, Babies must wear swimming nappies and any toilet accidents must be reported immediately - your deposit is at risk if the pool has to be chemically cleaned due to toilet accidents, Children to be under the supervision of the parents at all times we accept no responsibility for their safety as a lifeguard is not provided
The owner reserves the absolute right to close the pool or restrict the hours of swimming for any period of time if circumstances, which the owner believes in their absolute discretion to be necessary in the interest of Health and safety .
The owner cannot be held responsible for loss or inconvenience that may be suffered as a consequence of any breakdown of pump / filtration system or any other system used to operate the swimming pool and for any closure or restrictions to use of the swimming pool due to government and local laws prohibiting the use of water for pool maintenance.
We will not be held responsible to reimburse the guest should the Government and or local laws forbid the use of water for pool maintenance therefore forcing the closure of the advertised swimming pool that is available at our property
Complaints. If you have any problems with the house or its fittings or equipment, please let us know immediately. We will respond as quickly as possible to any complaint which is likely to seriously affect the enjoyment of you
Liability. We believe the property to be accurately described in our web site and any other literature supplied by us. You are responsible for insurance of your own personal property whilst on holiday.
Linen / towels. towels and bed linen. For those staying for 1 week or more, clean bed linen will be offered on a weekly basis. Pool towels will be provided and are not to be taken off the property You will be responsible for any other washing during the course of your stay.
Insurance. You are responsible for insuring your personal property whilst on holiday and for insuring against cancellation, sickness or other such risks.
ACCOMMODATION is provided for the persons named on the booking form. We must be informed in advance of any alteration. The maximum capacity of the Gite is 6 persons and this must not be exceeded without our permission.
SMOKING no smoking on the property or in the gite is allowed.
GENERAL Whilst every possible effort will be made to maintain the Swimming Pool and Gite equipment to a high standard and in good order for our guests enjoyment we cannot accept liability in the event of any unforeseen incident we would ask you to please bare with us whilst we attempt to rectify any problem as soon as possible.
All food to be emptied from the property and to be disposed of in appropriate bins or taken with you if this rule is not adhered to 100.00 euros will be retained from your security deposit.
All recycling must be put in appropriate bins and removed from the property before the end of your vacation if not disposed of properly 100.00 euros will be retained from your security deposit.
We provide all toilet paper as we have a fosse septic do not put anything other than the toilet paper provided into the toilet, for anything else use bins provided in the bathrooms we will know if anything other than the toilet paper we have provided as the pipes will block, A plumber will be called at your expense you will pay for this whilst your at the property minimum call out fee of 250.00 Euros
